Once your lease application is approved, you will be invited to set up your Resident Portal. Once registered, you can process a one‐time payment and/or set up AutoPay.

Select payment option (only full amount due will be accepted).

Maintenance Requests
To submit a non-emergency maintenance request, please login to your resident portal and submit a maintenance request. A member of the Castle Peak Homes team will contact you directly to confirm the request and schedule a convenient time to enter the property (if required).

Castle Peak Homes looks forward to welcoming you to your new home. Please review the move-in checklist for details to submit your first month’s rent, activate utilities, and schedule your move-in appointment.
1. Submit First Month’s Rent
Castle Peak Homes will need the rent payment to release the keys to you at move in. Please refer to your lease agreement on the amount due. Payments can be made online through PayLease, or a check made payable to Castle Peak Homes (personal checks must be received seven (7) days prior to move in.)
2. Activate Utilities
Gas: Atmos Energy: 1‐888‐286‐6700
Water: Contact your city water department
Electric: Any provider of your choice
*Please remember, even if resident(s) do not occupy the property at move in, the resident(s) is responsible for all utilities outlined in the lease at the lease start date.
3. Schedule Move-In Appointment

Move-Out Procedures
Move-Out Procedures & Checklist
It is our priority to make sure that your move out transition with us is as smooth as possible. Prior to vacating and surrendering your property keys, please make sure and address the following items.
Proper written notice, as outlined in the lease agreement, must be submitted to your Castle Peak Homes representative, along with your forwarding address.
Utilities must be connected until 11:59 p.m. on the final day of the lease term.
To ensure your security deposit is refunded, please address the additional items:
General
DO NOT scratch hardwoods (it can be very costly to repair)
Wash walls and remove all marks
Remove all hooks and nails and patch (as required)
Fill holes in walls with spackle and wipe clean off excess
Patch any large holes from anchors or molly bolts
Remove all cobwebs from walls and ceilings
Clean all switch plates
Clean all window blinds
Replace any burned out light bulbs
Replace smoke detector batteries
Replace HVAC filters
Remove and clean all light fixtures, covers or globes
Remove all personal items from property (including coat hangers)
Clean shelves throughout
Return all property and mail box keys
Kitchen
Clean range, including boiler pans
Remove and clean drip pan and underneath, if any
Clean behind and under refrigerator
Clean exhaust fan and filter (if any)
Clean exhaust overhead lights to remove grease and dirt
Wipe out dishwasher, including inside around door
Clean all cabinets, counters, shelves and drawers inside and out
Clean all surfaces of microwave including underside filter
DO NOT turn off refrigerator when vacating
Clean inside refrigerator, including shelves and drawers
Clean sink and faucet
Clean all light fixtures
Clean all floors and area surfaces
Wipe down baseboards
Living Room and Bedrooms
Clean floors and baseboards
Clean interior windows, frames and tracks
Clean vanity, medicine cabinet, including mirrors and shelves
Clean tub, shower, sink and toilet, removing all soap scum
Clean all bathroom fixtures, (lights, faucets, shower fixtures)
Clean all counters, drawers and shelves inside and out
Yard and Garage Area
Remove all personal belongings and debris
Clean any oil stains from garage floor, using appropriate cleaner
Sweep floor
Return all garage remotes

Move-out Inspection
Once you have addressed all move-out procedure items, please call 972-788-1100 to schedule a time for your final move-out inspection. A Castle Peak Homes representative will meet with you to perform the inspection and accept the return of your property keys.
